Nexus is a high-energy Rock and Roll Band that plays a variety of Rock & Roll music, but centers it's repertoire around the classic music of the 70's, 80's and 90's. We could be labeled a top 40s or society band, but we do much more than that.

While performing the most popular dance and party tunes (by such artists as Donna Summer and Aretha Franklin, etc.), we also like to follow in more challenging territory, rockin' it up with excited, syncopated and showy tunes (from bands including Santana and Gloria Estefan), and then really showing off the talent in the band by taking on the more challenging classics such as Blood, Sweat & Tears "Spinning Wheel", Styx "Come Sail Away" and other complex music that is not heard as much today...great classics that in today's world most bands either will not dare attempt or simply cannot handle. We are a band that loves the challenge, and have the ability to bring an unusually wide variety of music to any event, even music beyond Rock & Roll (such as Jazz or Swing) if your guests request it.

The “Nexus Rock Band” rocks!  The program was delightful.  The artists performed some of my all-time favorites, i.e. Dancin’ in the Streets and Mustang Sally, and the sound was so very much like the original artists’!  Thank you! I’m sure our patrons enjoyed their performance as did I. Again, thanks for such refreshing mid-day fun!
